One of my most favorite holiday traditions is printing family Christmas cards! As a photographer I’m always keeping my eye on great print shops and I found one I absolutely LOVE – Basic Invite.
I ordered five samples from their website a few weeks ago and had so many cheap holiday cards to choose from and was blown away by the unlimited colors, and custom samples.
Unlimited Colors
Basic Invite is one of the few websites that allows customers almost unlimited color options with instant previews online. Once you select a design, you can change the color of each element on the card. With over 180 colors to choose from, you can make sure the card is exactly how you want it. I had a lot of fun playing with the designs, colors, materials/finishes, and foil options.
Custom Samples
Basic Invite is one of the few websites that allows customers to order a printed sample of their actual invitation before they place their final order. They can see the paper quality and how it will print in real life and make sure the card is perfect. I selected a few different kinds of paper materials and finishes and am obsessed with a couple that are so buttery soft. I don’t know if I’ve ever described paper as buttery soft before haha but if you feel it you know exactly what I’m talking about. 😉
Most important to me is customer service. They have a chat bot with a real human on their website who I talked to during my ordering process with a couple questions I had. It gives me some extra peace of mind when companies offer that.
